Tiger Rock Combative Arts for Adults is a system comprised of Classic (1) Taekwondo, (2) HanMuDo and (3) Grappling. Effective personal protection may involve the use of more than one art at a time. Physical fitness and mental strength...give yourself the edge. .
Bert D. Kollars, Tiger-Rock Martial Arts International Grandmaster
Bert Kollars has studied Taekwondo, Hanmudo and other Arts for 40 years. His organizational and teaching resume began while pursuing a B.S. degree in business and agronomy at the University of Nebraska and continues as one of the principals of the ITA, now Tiger-Rock Martial Arts International
He credits Dr. He-Young Kimm as one of the primary martial art influences in his career as well as pioneers GM Haeng Ung Lee, GM Soon Ho Lee, General Choi, GM Won Kuk Lee, GM Craig Kollars and GM Art Monroe.
He sites key privileges in his career that include attending Grandmaster Won Kuk Lee’s last seminar before his death, being inducted into the U.S. Grandmaster Society in 2009, meeting many inspirational martial art leaders on two Korea/Japan tours and his relationship with many wonderful students and Tiger-Rock (Ho-Am) members.
Over nearly 40 years he has enjoyed being one of the primary developers of TRMAI operational and artistic systems. He is dedicated to lifelong learning, honoring Martial Art heritage and innovation, raising his family and using Tiger-Rock Martial Arts and volunteer service to improve our communities.

While training authentic and highly skilled TaeKwonDo artists, ITA believes the
highest purpose of TaeKwonDo education is to prepare students for the responsibilities
of citizenship. TaeKwonDo is about real and powerful experiences, resulting in the
discovery of innate capabilities and a heightened sense of responsibility. To that
end, we encourage our students to use their Martial Arts knowledge to improve our
communities through one act of leadership, public service, and mentoring at a time.
